About Aidan Jones
In 2023, I graduated with High Honors and a double major in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and the College of Integrative Science from Wesleyan University. During my time at Wesleyan, I conducted my thesis work on ALS mutations in stem cell-derived astrocyte in Dr. Alison O’Neil’s laboratory. I also worked as a research assistant in Dr. Aron Lichtman’s endocannabinoid laboratory at Virginia Commonwealth University.Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Cellular, Molecular, and Biomedical Studies as a candidate in Dr. Hachung Chung’s laboratory at Columbia University. I received the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) grant to support my thesis research and scientific outreach efforts as a leader of the Columbia University Neuroscience Outreach organization.
