   Provide technical support for the laboratory including: performing mycoplasma testing, reagent prep for sterilization, laboratory equipment and glassware washing and sterilization, maintain cleaning equipment, machines and wash areas, autoclaving activities to ensure sterilization of contaminated glassware prepare sterile glassware and liquids for use for microbiological cultures. Coordinate customer service communication with inventory and reagent clients, receive supplies, deliver supporting paperwork, and distribute supplies to storage areas. Purchasing and receving capital equipment where I work with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and finalize order details, facilitate installation and training for all new capital equipment and IS capital purchases, and work closesly with facilities and B&E for the evaluation of space and electrical requirements prior to equipment purchases. I also manage equipment and operations management and maintenance by conducting routine equipment maintenance checks and replace and/or repair as necessary; ensure equipment performance meets GLP recommendation and complies with safety and regulatory standards, follow autoclaving activities to ensure sterilization of CO2 incubators, maintain and renew service contracts, equipment calibration and preventative maintenance for the laboratory, analyze equipment management systems and develop improved procotocols for time efficient and accurate equipment monitoring, assist in maintaining SCTx Operations equipment management program, and assist lab ops manager with establishing and maintaining GLP compliance including organization.
