ABOUT AIDAN KETCHUM

As a Learning Manager at Shaw Communications, I am responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning solutions that support the strategic goals and performance improvement of various business units. I have more than 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, where I have developed a passion for learning and development, and a track record of delivering effective and engaging training programs. I also lead a team of training specialists and instructional designers, coaching them to achieve high standards of quality and innovation. I leverage my skills in team building, leadership, and creative solutions to customer service challenges, which I honed in my previous roles in customer service, loyalty, and payment solutions. In addition, I have been a military reservist working with air cadet summer training and local squadrons, where I held various positions such as Deputy Commanding Officer, Training Officer, Administration Officer, and Commanding Officer. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Okanagan College. I am looking for a new opportunity to apply my expertise and competencies in learning and development, and to contribute to a people-oriented, mission-driven organization that values diversity, collaboration, and excellence. I am eager to learn from and share my knowledge with other professionals in the field, and to make a positive impact on the learning culture and performance of the organization.
