ABOUT AIDAN CLEMENTE

Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience building and modernizing large-scale, customer-facing web applications used by global audiences. I currently work at accesso, where I develop and support a multi-million-dollar eCommerce ticketing platform for major entertainment brands. I excel at context switching and quickly adapting to new codebases, even when working across different languages and technologies, which allows me to contribute effectively in complex, evolving environments. My work focuses on modernizing legacy systems into scalable, maintainable TypeScript-based applications, primarily using Angular and Node.js. I collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and QA partners to deliver highly configurable, localization-friendly, and accessible experiences at scale.I actively incorporate AI-assisted development tools into my workflow to improve delivery speed and code quality. This includes using Claude Code for development, defect investigation, and automation efforts, as well as MCP servers integrated with Atlassian, GitHub, and Figma to accelerate information gathering and cross-functional planning.Beyond hands-on development, I enjoy making processes better—from improving development workflows and testing practices to strengthening cross-team collaboration. I also enjoy mentoring engineers, contributing to shared component libraries, and building thoughtful, global software that balances technical quality, usability, and long-term sustainability.
