Employed as a Lighting Designer, I have became a crucial part of the team to create lighting solutions to projects in the UK and across the world. My day to day tasks include: Building up quotations to offer lighting solutions that are tailored to the client specifications both aesthetically and technically. Creating technical submittal documents and comparison schedules to assist with the quotation, providing the technical specifications of our light fittings to issue to the client. Updating the website to show the latest information, ensuring all data is correct, easy to find and up to date in line with our current scope. This helps act as an marketing tool for anyone looking at our products. Creating and running lighting calculations in line with CIBSE guidelines and the clients specification. Ensuring that all calculations are correct and hitting the correct performance levels. Tailoring each design specifically to the customers design brief.
