As the first team Sports Therapist, this role involves leading a medical team and being responsible for the medical management of the first team, inclusive of pitch side cover, assessments and rehabilitation of injuries, and general maintenance of first team players to maximise availability where possible. Within this role I work as part of a multi disciplinary team as well as being responsible for the administrative tasks of the medical department such as note writing, referring players to specialists and ordering and maintaining medical supplies.
