ABOUT ANDREW CORNES

Working in product operations, I have experience with defect management and my previous development skills are particularly useful when triaging tickets. The service delivery aspects of the role follow ITIL guidelines and adopt a more agile process as we refine issues and work with domains to prioritise backlog work into their sprint cycles.I spend a great deal of time working with many different applications, which make up our ecommerce platform, and liaising with the various teams across the organisation, as well as external vendors and partners. I have a good understanding of infrastructure, networking, software development, testing, planning, managing defects, changes, and major incidents and regularly involved in peak planning, operational support and handling more technical queries regarding integration and data flows. I use soapui and postman to test api calls and responses and have coded interfaces in javascript to transform data in XML and JSON format into a more manageable simple to use interface.I document processes and have trained these to internal staff and external partners, developing application knowledge and skills and promoting the correct use and best practices often leading support as the subject matter expert.
