Sustainability engineer and ESG professional with a proven record of using product Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) to inform strategic business decisions and informing companies\' ESG strategy through alignment with leading reporting frameworks. Skilled in the collection, analysis, visualization and reporting of imperfect, complex data and collaborating with cross functional teams to interpret and communicate the resulting insights.What I\'m proud of- Informed Facebook\'s ESG reporting strategy by conducting a peer benchmarking exercise and gap analysis against TCFD, SASB and GRI standards- Identified opportunities for reducing the GHG emissions of Hershey\'s Kisses bags and Reese\'s Peanut Butter Cups by developing multiple Life Cycle Assessment models and recommending production methods that are less energy intensive- Produced a biochar water filter with 60% less GHG emissions compared to a traditional water filter by using waste as a feedstock.I started my sustainability career as an ESG Analyst at Vigeo Eiris where I rated over 100 companies in CSR performance and evaluated the level of integration of sustainability factors within the strategy and operations of organizations. I then joined the NC A&T State University Energy and Environmental Systems PhD program to learn and research how to apply scientific principles and concepts to business problems and products. I developed expertise in LCA and sustainability reporting frameworks as an EDF Climate Corps Fellow at Hershey and Facebook for two consecutive years.I love helping companies use industry-leading sustainability strategies and tools to create value and reduce risk, costs, and environmental impact.
