ABOUT ASHIONYE ANINZE

As a Master\'s student in Artificial Intelligence at Birmingham City University, I am deeply passionate about ethical AI and its potential to better our world. My tech journey has been driven by a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a more equitable and inclusive tech environment. Through various coursework, projects, and internships, I have gained hands-on experience in several programming languages, including Python, R, Java, and SQL. I\'m proficient in utilising ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow and scikit-learn to develop and implement AI models.My undergraduate dissertation,\"Measuring and Mitigating Bias in Machine Learning Algorithms,\" solidified my commitment to ethical AI. This research was published, cited and acknowledged by researchers on ResearchGate, highlighting its impact.I\'m also an active member of the Rewriting the Code community, where I connect with and learn from other women in tech. This supportive network has been beneficial in my personal and professional growth, providing me with valuable insights and opportunities to contribute to a more inclusive tech industry.With a positive, team-oriented attitude, I have contributed to software development and testing of multiple applications and systems while working with diverse, cross-functional teams. I have also developed communication skills and the ability to work under pressure from my experiences in the software industry and hospitality sector.I am quite passionate about ethical AI and its potential to create a more equitable and inclusive future. I am eager to contribute to the development and deployment of AI systems that are fair, unbiased, and beneficial to all. I am happy to connect with others who share my passion for innovation and ethical AI!
