About Aaron Hockley
I am a freelance photographer with a focus on event, commercial, and portrait photography. I\'ve worked with clients ranging from individuals up through international corporations, and my current passion is working with startups and small businesses. My goal is to use my photography skills and experiences to make my clients and their companies look great - whether that means a simple professional headshot, candid event photos, or a series of coordinated images for a marketing campaign or event. I\'m involved with the photographic community; I\'m currently the Vice President of the Professional Photographers of Washington and am a 2-time Past President of the Oregon Professional Photographers Association.Through PPA I\'ve earned my Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman degrees, and I\'m a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP). My images have been selected for inclusion in PPA\'s International Photographic Exhibition, with multiple images in the prestigious Loan Collection. In 2015 I was awarded third place in the for Commercial/Illustrative category and selected as a finalist in the World Photographic Cup.I have a strong technical background and have been actively involved with blogging and social media for 13 years.
