About Ahmet Akin
I have more than twenty years of teaching experience at several institutions in different countries. I taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, to traditional and non-traditional students. My teaching interests are corporate finance, investments, international finance, financial modeling, managerial accounting, and business analytics. For several years, I acted in the capacity of a student advisor. In addition to advising full-time regular students, I worked with international exchange students. Plus, I served on a number of educational committees at the departmental, college, and university levels. I am searching for ways to add to my credentials. In this regard, I have recently become Anaplan certified model builder and I am impressed by the implementation of connected planning in Anaplan. I taught topics like financial planning and analysis, cost estimation and analysis, variance analysis, cost-volume-profit analysis, and sensitivity and scenario analysis in my courses. Now, I am willing to apply my skills and knowledge to Anaplan model-building projects.
