ABOUT AHMED W. ALI

I\'m a Computer Engineering Graduate from Gina Cody School of Engineering at Concordia University. The majority of my work experience has been in relation to operation and workflow management, project management, planning and problem solving in the technological, e-commerce, marketing & advertising as well as the construction field. In addition to various project experiences in both the software and hardware fields.I’m a proactive individual who always sought after improving himself and never held back on expanding his knowledge. Hence, during my studies and work experiences, I never backed down from challenges, and I adopted them as precious learning opportunities that resulted in notable achievements during both my academic and professional journeys.Some of my notable achievements in both the hardware and software fields during my undergraduate degree studies include obtaining an Engineering Team Design Award for development of ExamApp : an exam invigilation application that utilizes a portable low cost and efficient facial recognition technologies and is fully controlled using an android-enabled device with a python/flask backend and a raspberry pi controller/processor. Additionally, during my final capstone project we conducted a research on Improving Accuracy of AI Object Detection Convolution Neural Networks (CNNs) using Data Augmentation Methods.The exposure to different cultures, work fields and experiences has greatly contributed in building my personality and developing an interest in learning more about the different perspectives offered in workspace environments.
