ABOUT AHMED TRIGUI

As a Medical Doctor (MD) and Resident in Preventive & Community Medicine, I am passionate about empowering public health through epidemiology, infection prevention and control (IPC), and data-driven solutions. I am also a Certified Field Epidemiologist (FETP, EMPHNET) trained with the Ministry of Health in Tunisia, with a strong focus on public health research, surveillance, and capacity-building. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Community Health Research and Epidemiology at the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax and a Professional Master’s in Healthcare Management and Quality of Care at the Faculty of Medicine of Sousse.Holding a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax (2024, with honors) and certifications in biostatistics, vaccinology, medical device management, infection control, and smoking cessation, I am skilled in outbreak investigation, HIV prevention, non-communicable disease screening, occupational safety, and sterilization. My expertise includes conducting hygiene audits, mentoring medical students, training healthcare personnel on best practices for hygiene and safety, leading community health screening campaigns, and providing methodological guidance for theses.As a member of the Association of Epidemiological Doctors of Sfax, a volunteer with the Tunisian Red Crescent since 2013, and a volunteer with the Civil Protection Service since 2018, I am dedicated to advancing community health through evidence-based practices. I excel in data analysis (SPSS), health promotion, and disaster preparedness. My commitment to quality care and collaboration drives my work in improving healthcare standards and outcomes.
