I am working as a research scientist at Crosslight with a main focus on the development of new features and capabilities for the Photonic Integrated Circuit Simulation (PICS3D) simulation tool.• Developed and implemented a general-purpose full-wave optical simulation software package for integrated optoelectronic simulation. • Designed advanced solvers, including a full-vectorial optical mode solver for VCSEL cavities and parallelized FDTD solvers for high-performance simulations. • Applied Ansys/Lumerical tools for the design and verification of photonic devices. • Contributed to compact model development for optical components integrated into circuit-level simulations.• Deployed optimization algorithms to enhance simulation performance for photonic devices.
