ABOUT AHMED HUSSEIN
With over a decade of experience in robotics and intelligent vehicles, I am an autonomous driving specialist and technical project manager. I earned my PhD from Universidad Carlos de Madrid (UC3M), Spain, where I co-led the Intelligent Campus Automobile (iCab) project in the Intelligent Systems Lab (LSI). Currently, I am a Project Manager and Chief Product Owner for Localization & Mapping at IAV GmbH, Berlin, Germany. My expertise spans autonomous software/system architecture, sensor data fusion, optimization, computational intelligence, cooperative driving systems, and deep learning. I am also an active volunteer, serving as Vice President of Conference Activities for ITSS and Founder of the ITSS German Chapter.
