Spero Analytics build end-to-end IoT surveillance systems for environmental monitoring, specifically for industries operating in remote, off-grid areas with limited telecom infrastructure. Our primary focus is on methane monitoring, quantification, and leak detection in landfills, oil and gas, and mining facilities. Our networks can scale up to 100 nodes for a single gateway, operate with minimal maintenance, can self-heal if a node goes offline, and do not require cellular coverage for data transmission.To-date, we have raised over in VC funding, deployed monitoring networks at landfills in Southern Ontario and rainwater harvesting sites in Mexico City, and have a partnership with Environment Canada to collect methane emission calculations at natural gas facilities.
