Head of Climate Risk: 2021 – 2024 • Pioneered and built the Climate Group from the ground up, establishing a comprehensive agenda of deliverables without a playbook that exceeded internal benchmarks and independent reviews. Chaired C-suite level Climate Steering Committee which included the CRO, CCO and CFO. Managed a team of ~10 directs and ~40 indirects. • Collaborated with Lines of Business, Finance, Risk, and Legal, to identify >120 climate risks and opportunities, measure 20+ climate KPIs, create 2 new reporting dashboards, and update >100 policies / procedures for ESG considerations.• Oversaw the net-zero financed emissions disclosure, target-setting, and reporting methodologies for Oil & Gas, Power, Automotive, Steel, and Aviation. Corporate Risk Finance • Led expense planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for enterprise sustainability, saving ~$3M in vendor, headcount and compensation. Operated under budget in every year. • Directed the implementation of expense transformation of the Climate/Sustainability program for the Commercial segment, covering a lending base of over $800B.• Implemented an investment tracking and prioritization tool, overseeing $20M+ in investments. Facilitated trainings for technology teams, project managers, finance, COO partners, etc. Led a high-priority risk management enhancement program integrating risk identification, risk measurement, new business initiatives, and issues management into front-line processes. Led a Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process for Financed Emissions and Corp Strategy. Presented to diverse audiences, including a keynote address to 200 attendees, conducted in-person and remote training sessions, and moderated a DE & I panel.
