I’m a Master’s student in Computer Science at California State University, Long Beach. I build production software and ML systems with a focus on distributed systems, backend engineering, and ML driven products, especially where performance, scalability, and reliability matter.Previously, I worked as a Software Engineer at Paismo and xiQ, Inc, where I shipped backend services and ML features end to end. Highlights include delivering a high availability microservice that reduced peak production latency by 80%, building a RAG based resume to job matching system using embeddings and hybrid relevance scoring, and improving reliability through observability, safer deployments, and strong operational practices. At xiQ, I helped scale multi tenant backend services for a B2B GenAI email platform, working across APIs, data layers, and integrations with an emphasis on performance and tenant isolation.Currently, I’m a Research Assistant on a Chapman University x CSULB collaboration applying machine learning to wearable sensor data for real world healthcare use cases. I work on data pipelines, modeling, and evaluation.
