I possess 10+ years of professional experience in Finance, Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting & Accounting, Business Administration & Operations as well as the provision of Audit, Assurance & Business Advisory services.I began my career in 2011 at PwC and stayed there for over four years. I followed that up with a year of managerial experience at a US-based Management Consultancy before switching to the Technology Industry where I have been leading Finance Teams at US-based Tech Firms since 2016.During my five years at PwC and Allinial Global, I provided assurance and business advisory services to energy, financial, telecom, media, manufacturing, education and technology sector clientele with over five dozen full-scale assignments under my belt including statutory and internal audits, due diligence, referred reporting, gap analysis, business process re-engineering, internal control optimization, compliance certification and a variety of other agreed-upon procedures.I had an evolving role in these engagements wherein I began as an audit associate and then worked my way up to being the engagement manager and hence responsible for providing overall tactical and operational leadership for a number of projects and often, simultaneously.My major accomplishments during my public practice include setting up a public interest entity from the grounds up, pioneering the implementation of IFRS-6 in a multinational oil company and successful conduction of international engagement compliance quality control reviews.During this time, I also got my hands on an exceedingly diverse range of advisory assignments that lent me a keen insight into the business, administrative and logistic side of finance that paved my way from compliance into industry and business operations circles wherein I have been able to act as a strategic partner to the board and CEOs; offering useful business insights apart from ensuring top-notch reporting, compliance, financial modeling, debt-financing and business restructuring including managing mergers and acquisitions. Before my current role, I led the Finance & Operations at Mindstorm Studios, a vibrant gaming company affiliated with Lion Studios.Currently, I am leading the Finance & Operations at a premier cutting-edge SAAS-based company that is disrupting the technological landscape, worldwide and am yet to have had a dull day at work.
