Travel to customers’ sites overseas, onshore and offshore, often at short notice. Conduct or assist in surveys, installations, and commissioning tasks as outlined in the scope of work. Configure VSAT hardware, services, and peripheral equipment at Speedcast client locations. Perform planned preventative maintenance in accordance with contractual requirements. Collaborate with Technical Support and customers to remotely diagnose and resolve issues whenever feasible. Configure, test, and troubleshoot satellite modems and C-band and Ku-band RF systems. Assemble and deploy fixed antenna systems, ensuring proper installation and alignment. Maintain regular communication with local client representatives to provide updates on ongoing work. Effective \'debrief\' and reporting service calls after closing/ending jobs. Complete the internal reporting requirements, as well as the external acceptance reports to be presented to the customer. Maintain work areas in a clean and organized manner. Manage and submit all operational documentation, including expense and time reports, promptly and accurately.

Site survey, installation and commissioning of satellite systems such as Starlink and Kymeta. Basic understanding of baseband (modem, multiplexers, broadband and IP technologies systems). Test, locate and repair on-board terminal problems by interpreting customer complaints, service orders, circuits diagrams and electrical schematics. Ability to learn new technologies and RF services.
