Own the quality management system, initiates and implements quality improvement initiatives to raise the performance of the company’s processes, and leads all quality and regulatory audits for multiple plants across the US. Responsible for all activities pertaining to Quality, Continuous Improvement and audits regarding company products and standard operating procedures (SOP\'s) at the global level. Act in the role of \"spokesperson to the customer\" on the matters of Quality and Regulatory initiatives. Develop and implement a \"Cost of Quality\" approach to measuring the Quality system. Maintain awareness of internal and external trends, opportunities for improvement, new customers, changes in markets, new industry developments, evolution of standards and industry practices, threats and risk to the organization. Manage Site Quality QPIs/metrics, monthly reporting and corrective actions at the site. Analyze internal and external Quality data and initiate effective preventive and corrective actions to reduce and eliminate adverse trends. Mange an effective complaint management process at all levels and across the organization by monitoring complaints follow-up for effective resolution Develop, administer, monitor and maintain an operating budget that is fiscally responsible in managing unit costs while providing for appropriate funds to assure financial support of short-term/long-term objectives. This is accomplished by reviewing past financial performance of the operational units, review of the internal/external operating plans, review past financial performance, review operating plans of all customers, both internal/external, determine appropriate headcount, evaluate the required capital assets, evaluate current proposed compliance initiatives that may impact operating costs and review corporate fiscal guidelines.
