Work within outage management process to assist in developing outage scope and schedule documents-Work as project manager on assigned projects and collaborate with senior management, pertinentcontractors/manufacturers/vendors, in-house maintenance groups, and planners on scope development and implementation-Familiar with the unit\'s performance and developed daily unit health assessments to provide updatesduring plant status meetings-Communicate to senior engineers all issues related to unit perfomance, derates, and short/long-termproblems along with updates to senior staff.Perform daily review of unit operating and maintenance issues (Commercial Availability, PI charts,alarms, unit and shift supervisor logs, UCF constraints, Control Room software, DCS etc.)-Participate in post outage reports, as required, to identify improvement areas for future outages andoutage prevention-Assist in development of vision and strategy for overall improvement and reliability of energyproduction units-Manage and design control systems: focusing on PLC, low voltage troubleshooting,interpreting/analyzing/updating diagrams (one line, WD, SD), networking, DCS (Distributed ControlSystems), HMI and instrumentation-Troubleshoot, design and optimize existing systems to improve plant performance, using Allen Bradley PLCs, Bailey Systems Infi 90 X and 800xa-Develop, test, and maintain control logic using Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagrams to optimize system performance-Coordinate with technicians and other departments to implement system upgrades and resolve control-related issues, including interlocking systems and instrumentation upgrades
