ABOUT AHMED FARID

I am a recent MSc Artificial Intelligence graduate from the University of Sheffield with a strong foundation in machine learning, software engineering, and data-driven systems. My interests sit at the intersection of applied AI and scalable backend development, where models, infrastructure, and real-world impact come together.Through academic research and practical engineering projects, I have developed experience across machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, and distributed systems. I enjoy working end-to-end — from data processing and experimentation to building reliable APIs, monitoring workflows, and deploying production-style solutions. My work reflects a balance between analytical thinking and practical engineering, with a strong emphasis on clean design, reproducibility, and debugging complex systems.I am particularly interested in roles where AI meets real software — including machine learning engineering, backend engineering, data platforms, or production-focused AI environments. I value collaborative teams, continuous learning, and solving meaningful technical problems that have measurable impact.Technically, I work primarily with Python, SQL, and modern ML tooling, and I am comfortable operating in Linux environments, containerised workflows, and API-driven systems. I enjoy building things that are not only intelligent but also reliable and maintainable.I am currently open to graduate and early-career opportunities across software engineering, machine learning, and data-focused roles. I’m always happy to connect with people working on interesting technical challenges or building impactful technology.
