1) Design, analyze, build, and test powertrain system transmitting power to / from the main jet engine and drive main flight accessories such as hydraulic pumps and electric generator. Powertrain include gearboxes, clutches, drive shafts, differentials, torque converters, etc.2) Own and Drive clean sheet in-house design gearbox life cycle development from cradle to grave.3) Perform gear loads, bearings, seals, and rotordynamics analysis in addition to designing the lubrication / cooling system and analyzing thermal loads 4) Carried out and participated in trades for vehicle power system, with close involvement in architectural decisions for the Powertrain, High Voltage, and Fluid Systems. 5) Heavily involved in Vehicle Power and Fluids Systems level management and test planning.6) Perform detailed structural, fluid, and thermal analysis on powertrain system ensuring they meet vehicle top level requirements.7) Own Engine Starting and Powertrain system and its components such as Jet Fuel Starter ( JFS), Accessory Drive Gearbox (ADG), Constant Speed Drive (CSD), Fuel Control Assembly ( FCA), etc. 8) Working closely with Supply Chain team to develop new strategic business collaboration and partnership with suppliers, Machine Shops and MRO shops to meet both our program demands in parts, and services. 9) Perform both system and component levels Qual and Acceptance testing plans and execution.10) Perform on site support to our Flight test team during both ground and flight testing. 11) Collaborate with Manufacturing team of engineers and technicians to create work orders for both in house manufacturing and vehicle subsystem integration plan.
