Provide technical leadership for electrical engineers on complex defense system projects • Research, design, simulate and develop circuit for DC/DC converters, power management methods, analog circuit design, digital circuit design, FPGA design, and other general electrical engineering functions • Develop embedded hardware for military application by using different processors such as STM32, NXP MX7, TI MSP and various communication protocol such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI • Conduct trade off studies of new electronics, technologies and make selection based on performance vs cost • Present program technical status to internal management and customers • Lead and drive design development from schematic capture, PCB layout review through assembly and build • Perform PI and SI analysis by using Hyperlynx. • Test, debug, and validate new design through bench test and use oscilloscope and DMM for debugging • Support manufacturing of CCA through the whole cycle by bringing design to mass production and reviewing factory test requirements, help with software bring-up, and work with manufacturing and quality team to ensure successful product
