I am a passionate Environmental Ranger with Kirklees Council, working on the frontline to protect and enhance public green spaces, promote biodiversity, and engage communities in environmental stewardship.With a background in Wildlife Conservation and hands-on experience in ecological research, habitat monitoring, and national park protection, I bring a strong mix of field skills and community-focused practice to the role. I have experience in patrolling protected areas, preventing environmental damage, mitigating human-wildlife conflicts, and supporting eco-tourism initiatives.I am proficient in data analysis using RStudio and GIS tools (QGIS), and skilled in biological sampling, telemetry, and field surveys. I’m committed to making a difference locally by supporting sustainable land use, raising public environmental awareness, and helping ensure safe, clean, and accessible green spaces for all.I hold first aid certification and have completed specialist training in national park protection, camera trapping, and environmental education.My long-term goal is to continue bridging science, policy, and public engagement in support of global conservation and sustainable community living.
