ABOUT AHMAR KHAN
I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Hertfordshire, specializing in developing cutting-edge multiplex assays for drug monitoring using advanced micro-sampling technologies. My research focuses on microsampling-based LC-MS/MS bioanalytical method development and biomarker quantification, aiming at advancing therapeutic strategies for respiratory disease management. My doctoral research is jointly funded by Capitainer, European regional development fund (EDRF) and Hertfordshire Local enterprise partnership. With a robust background in pharmaceutics and extensive experience as a registered pharmacist in India, I bring a deep, interdisciplinary understanding of pharmaceutical sciences to my work.Parallel to my doctoral studies, I am also working as a Visiting Lecturer in the department of clinical, pharmaceutical and biological sciences (CPBS) at the University of Hertfordshire. Beyond academia, I am actively mentoring at Project EduAccess, where I support and guide aspiring students in their educational pursuits. Additionally, I am a published writer and I have also explored creative expression through poetry publications, using my craft to convey nuanced reflections and insights.
