ABOUT AHMAD UZAIR HEDZREE
I am a self-driven and detail-oriented final-year MEng Mechanical Engineering student at The University of Manchester, with a strong academic record (First Class Honours) and international industry experience through internships at Equinor UK and PETRONAS Malaysia. My professional interests lie in drilling operations, mechanical integrity, reliability, and advanced manufacturing.In addition to industry exposure, I have strong research experience in 3D printing and sustainable manufacturing technologies. My IMechE award-winning project focused on robotic large-format additive manufacturing, where I developed a closed-loop extrusion control system with computer vision and PID control, successfully printing functional prototypes using recycled and bio-based materials.Outside engineering, I am deeply passionate about productivity and self-improvement. Books such as Deep Work (Cal Newport), Atomic Habits (James Clear), and Building a Second Brain (Tiago Forte) have shaped my approach to focus, habit formation, and knowledge management.
