About Ahmad Humayun
Ahmad Humayun is a research scientist in the Vicarious Agents team at DeepMind. In the past he has lead the Neural Networks Vision group at Vicarious. He completed his PhD with Jim Rehg at the School of Interactive Computing (part of College of Computing), Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his MSc. in Computer Graphics, Vision and Imaging from University College London in 2010 for which he was awarded the Microsoft Research Prize and BBC Best Overall Student Prize. His research interests are in the use of motion cues for perception, applying machine learning to video data and discrete optimization techniques for segmentation. He has also worked in several areas of robotic perception.
