ABOUT AHMAD HASAN
An Engineer at heart, Entrepreneur in soul, and an Engipreneur by passion.I’ve had the opportunity to spearhead a very successful youth non-profit in parallel with my pursuit of an undergraduate engineering degree before moving onto a USD 12 Billion ship-engine manufacturer, Wartsila, where I drove innovation and change through lean management techniques and digital transformation. A thesis publication and 50 engine overhauls aboard 20 ships later, I seized an opportunity to fuel my entrepreneurial yearning; BeZingo Media Consultancy.While it was a phenomenal experience to run a start-up in partnership with one of my closest friends and mentors, adverse economic climates in an oil-driven Middle Eastern economy as well as judgement errors called for some much-needed learning and introspection – addressed by the gurus at Rotman’s prestigious Full-Time MBA at UofT. I aim to leverage my diverse entrepreneurial experiences, efficacies and insatiable curiosity by excelling in the field of Technology, Strategy and Leadership to help solve complex problems with Deloitte\'s Technology Strategy and Transformation team focused on Business Application Strategy. My personal interests include professional photography, playing the electric guitar and adventure sports (currently learning how to snowboard). Some of my recent achievements include a Photoshoot for Apple UAE (2017), Top Negotiator Award at Rotman Negotiations Challenge 2018, Advanced Drone Pilot Certification (Transport Canada, 2019), and Nitrox Scuba Diving Certification (2021)
