ABOUT AHMAD YAR

Attained a Master\'s degree in Project Management with distinction, culminating in a dissertation that explored the realm of sustainable construction practices and their profound impact on the UK construction industry. Formerly, I held the position of Temporary Work Coordinator for a £125 million GBP project with the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) in Pakistan, overseeing the construction of 200 residential apartments. In my current capacity, my responsibilities encompass setting out, quantity estimation, and on-site supervision. I adeptly handle Technical Queries (TQ) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), concurrently reviewing and approving Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Furthermore, I play a pivotal role in securing the approval of construction safety documentation. Before my role with Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) in Pakistan, I functioned as a site engineer and setting out engineer at Muammar Engineering Experts (Pvt) Ltd, Islamabad, Pakistan, where I played a key role in a £25 million GBP project. My responsibilities encompassed the management of 2D & 3D design for the building and overseeing the setting out of various elements, including sewerage lines, ducts, and foundations. Notably, this unique project distinguished itself by utilizing 70% reused materials in its construction. Prior to that, I served as an intern engineer at the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) in Islamabad, Pakistan. In this role, my primary focus was on the construction of street roads, an overhead water tank, and the installation of a new sewerage line within a society. Moreover, I took charge of handling all estimations using Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and generating engineering drawings through AutoCAD and Civil Sketchup. Possess a Master\'s Degree in Project Management and a Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering from globally recognized institutions. Currently engaged in the pursuit of membership with CICES (Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors).
