As an Automotive Homologation Engineer, I am responsible for managing vehicle developing process from the design phase to the vehicle launch making particular attention to homologation aspects.This requires the figure to lead a cross-functional team to ensure targets have been met during the project. In addition to that, I manage the tactical implementation of the vehicle approval program for the different involved markets.Main Responsibilities: • Develop and update the global homologation requirements for design team.• Participate in design reviews and design release approvals to assure program designis on track to meet Global Certification requirements.• Create and maintain timing plans for specific Certification activities, such asECE, FMVSS, KMVSS, ADR, etc.• Develop test programs required to achieve type approval for new vehicles and allGlobal Certification and related markets.• Plan, monitor and expedite tests, documentation and certification reports.• Work with internal personnel, third party labs, consultants and regulatorybodies to drive Global Certification approval activities on planned schedules.• Manage third party agents in various countries as needed to work with regulatorybodies.
