Field: Transportation & Infrastructure Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for transportation-related projects for a variety of clients, including MTA, DoT, PANYNJ and Amtrak. Prepare basic deliverables and products including calculations, drawings, and specifications using CAD softwares. Evaluate fundamental engineering guidelines, code compliance requirements and industry standards. Perform power and lighting load calculations, conduit layout and fill calculations, wire/cable sizing, and development of one-line diagrams. Prepare design specifications and basis of design documents during design and submittal reviews. Review construction submittals and RFI documents. Perform Electrical Power System studies using specialized software. Examine field conditions as required to support development and completion of project.
