ABOUT AHMAD HAKIM

I\'m a fourth-year Computer Science student at the University of Toronto, specializing in Software Engineering. I bring one year of full-stack development experience from my internship at SOTI, where I contributed to a large-scale SaaS device management platform. My work involved developing features using C#.NET, TypeScript, Angular, and SQL within a complex enterprise codebase. During my time at SOTI, I worked on several impactful projects, including a certificate dashboard to streamline certificate data retrieval, a multithreaded bulk action system to improve performance of configuration profile tasks, and import/export functionality to simplify instance migrations. I also led the end-to-end development of a full-stack feature that enabled exporting user policies via downloadable CSV files or email, including designing and building both the backend APIs and the frontend UI. On campus, I worked as a study group facilitator for an introductory computer science course, helping over 50 students strengthen their understanding of data structures and algorithms. Outside of class, I\'ve built several projects—from Android Assist, an accessibility-focused mobile app for seniors, to Stocks Network, a full-stack social platform for managing and sharing stocks and portfolios. I\'m always looking to grow in this fast-evolving field. Currently, I\'m sharpening my Python skills by learning Django for backend development, as well as React for frontend. But what I\'m most excited about is exploring cloud computing technologies like AWS to understand how to design, deploy, and scale applications in the cloud.
