Leading and coordinating with designers, and drafters for the main civil works at Site C Project including the Earthfill Dam from conceptual design through preliminary and final design, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards to meet the project requirements and stay within budget and schedule. Acting as a technical resource and preparing technical method statement based on project specification, financial and contractual documents such as letters, memorandums, reports, and work with the cost estimating team. Conducting design studies, site assessments, data collection, field inspections, and site surveys such as geotechnical site inspections to assess the site conditions and compose comprehensive reports. Leading and preparing the technical solutions development as part of a design team, such as determining design criteria, preparing engineering calculations and technical designs, material and cost estimates, drawing layouts, and construction details. Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, surveyors, contractors and subcontractors, vendors, other professionals, and stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure smooth project execution. Supervising the work on site, identify construction issues and liaise the resolution, and organizing to assist field construction QA team and review of as-built drawing. Organizing progress meetings to discuss and suggest technical proposals and advice regarding IFC drawings, construction implementation plan, and providing progress report on actual progress of construction schedule to ensure that the works are being constructed in accordance with the technical specifications and meet project schedules and budgets. Organizing work in the laboratory to ensure proper evaluation of construction material, and conformity with provisions in contracts and relevant codes and standards. Instrumentation monitoring under Dam Safety Guidelines and Regulation.

With over 20 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, I am a senior civil engineer at Peace River Hydro Partners, where I lead and coordinate with various teams and stakeholders for the main civil works at Site C Project, one of the largest hydroelectric projects in Canada.
