ABOUT AHMAD ALSAWAF

Highly enthusiastic and dedicated polymer chemist with over five years of academic research experience, specializing in polymer synthesis, nanostructure design, and advanced material characterization. During my Master’s degree in Chemistry, with a focus on polymer and organic synthesis, I completed two research internships and a thesis project before pursuing and recently completing a PhD in polymer chemistry.Throughout my academic journey, I have:Developed novel block copolymers and poly(ionic liquid)s for functional materials.Engineered antimicrobial nanostructures via crystallization-driven self-assembly (CDSA).Designed and studied metal-crosslinked polymer networks with catalytic and self-healing potential.Conducted CO₂ electroreduction catalyst research using Cu–Sn bronze alloys.I am now excited to bring my skills and hands-on experience into an industrial setting, where I can contribute to research, development, or regulatory affairs in polymer science, materials chemistry, or any field involving organic and macromolecular synthesis. Now, it is time to gather all these previous pieces of knowledge in one vessel.I’m highly motivated, quick to learn, and eager to work in dynamic teams focused on innovation and real-world impact. Open to new opportunities across Europe and beyond.Let’s connect!
