About Alexandria Lucas
I am currently working as an Orthopedic Surgery-Sports Medicine Physician Assistant at Stony Brook University Hospital. I also have 3 years of previous experience as an Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care PA in the greater Portland, Maine as well as on Long Island, NY. I graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant program in August 2021. I worked for two years at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Pulmonary & Critical Care Department before PA school.As a Biology, Mathematics, and Sociology graduate of Colby College, I am passionate about science and innovative thought as well as an understanding of humanity. This, alongside my desire to care for and help others, which has been something I have achieved through many years of volunteer work, align with my interest in become a healthcare professional. After working at Maine Medical Center as a Clinical Research Intern, I know that one of my passions, in addition to becoming a physician assistant, is improving the quality of healthcare and discovering the best and most useful techniques for providing quality and compassionate care.
