About Ahila Dorairaj

I am a Coimbatore based writer, works as a Counselling Psychologist. I am credited with twenty two books, which includes short stories, novels, travelogue, poetry in Tamil and English. Translation works from English to Tamil are done and published one of Jim Corbett\'s book in Tamil.In non-fiction side, I penned down my Heart By-pass surgery experience, the first of its kind in Tamil and was awarded with Nerunji Creative Literary Award. Known as a literary critic and so far, published two volumes of criticism books in this regard. I am conferred with many awards which includes Sakthi Award, Asokamithran Memory Literary Award and Bharathiar award.
