ABOUT ANDREW HENDRICKS
I support organizations in leveraging data to improve decision-making. In my role as a Harvard Strategic Data Project fellow at the Fresno Unified School District, that has meant developing an innovative method for applying academic return on investment (A-ROI) in IT and using the evidence from our analyses to influence district-level policies. In my roles as an ELA teacher, literacy coach and assistant principal in the NYC Department of Education, that meant supporting staff and students with translating data into actionable insights and working with the school leadership team to ensure that our strategy was evidence-driven. In all of my work with data, I aim to create opportunities for collective wins, to ground my work in a strength-based perspective and to make a tangible, positive impact.I also founded the Mott Hall Rock Stars and coached the Mott Hall Knights basketball team to a Bronx East Division championship. I should have led with that. Go Knights!
