ABOUT ANDREAS HEIL
Dr. Andreas Heil is Professor for Software Engineering at the University of Heilbronn of Applied Sciences.Before he was resposible for Enterprise Application Integration solutions, enterprise messaging and enterprise services as well as B2B solutions, mainly based on TIBCO solutions at Germany\'s leading retailer for drugstore artikels, dm drogerie-markt GmbH & CO. KG for more than retail stores. Andreas received his doctoral degree in the field of Web Engineering at the Distributed and Self-organizing Systems Group from the Technical University of Chemnitz in Germany, funded by the Microsoft Research PhD Scholarship Program from Microsoft Research in Cambridge, UK. Andreas is vice president of the International Society for Web Engineering. As senior software engineer he worked several years for Microsoft in Germany as well as Microsoft Research in Cambridge, UK. He contributed to several areas such as environmental sciences and IoT over the past few years. He is a contributor to industry publications and books and holds several patents in the field of computer science.
