Ahbra launched and programs Burnt Ends, a showcase of outlier and outsider media seeking to champion eccentric independent cinema. During the Pandemic, she Initiated and led the Pivot for Fantastic Fest to become a virtual festival in 2020 and a Hybrid festival in 2021. I implemented an SVOD streaming option into our TVOD platform to utilize the existing OTT streaming service for a Festival. This opened up access and brought an entirely new user base to Alamo On Demand.Over the years, she has done Talent relations, Film Traffic, Programming and Scheduling, Live event planning and producing, in-theater activations, video production, copywriting, and so much more for the festival. She travels to film festivals and markets worldwide, scouting films and connecting with talent. She screens hundreds of genre films annually and maintains close relationships with a deep rolodex of genre filmmakers.Everything in the name of independent cinema! Ahbra continues to program and host everything from podcasts and immersive experiences to outsider genre cinema for the festival.
