   As the Founder/Owner of Smart Moves, I work with local, regional, and state agencies to implement public projects. I develop plans, then move those plans into action by securing funds for implementation and managing projects through construction. I provide guidance to cities and transit agencies regarding federal, state, and local funding opportunities for priority transportation, mobility, and parks projects; submit competitive federal, state, and local funding applications for transportation, parks, and economic development projects; coordinate public-private partnerships to implement public projects; make recommendations to expand existing bike/ped networks; and research new mobility guidelines from industry leaders and make recommendations to local government agencies. Some of my favorite Smart Moves projects include a Vision 2030 Plan with strategies to create a new downtown area overlooking a beautiful river; providing guidance for how to best utilize COVID relief funds; options for utilizing 5310 funds for microtransit and first/last mile transit service; transit oriented development; bike/ped planning; microtransit; integrated mobility innovation; transit fleet conversion to zero-emission vehicles; complete streets; and an organizational analysis project.
