   Responsible to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the project. Work closely with project team to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support. Duties include:•Navigating the Building Department from job filing to permit to Certificate Of Occupancy•Environmental site cleanups (soil remediation, tank removals, air and noise contamination)•Oversee project from preconstruction survey through demolition, excavation, foundation, concrete and steel superstructures, coordination of all MEP\'s to interior finishes•Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management•Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities•Recruit, interview and select subcontractors, vendors and consultants with appropriate skills for the project activities•Ensure that project files are properly maintained, kept confidential and appropriately distributed•Obtain and evaluate proposals; Write contracts •Obtain shop drawings and submissions•Execute the project according to the project plan•Monitor the progress and quality of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure it meets the project standards and the successful completion of the project•Monitor and approve all payment requisitions•Secure disconnects and new utilities from Con Edison and National Grid
