On-the-fly problem solver seeking elegant solutions to Machine Learning challenges while bridging the gap between Math and Programming. With a degree in physics to fuel my passion, I am endlessly searching for ways to explain and model the world around me. Whether trying to better understand probability within quantum mechanical systems or the performance of a machine learning algorithm, my skills within Data and Mathematics have driven me through my exploration of software and analytics. Remember: All models are wrong, some are useful.As an intern at a machine learning startup, I successfully implemented training data analytics and visualization for a Natural Language Processing Sequence 2 Sequence model. My physics and computer science experiences have developed within me the abilities to think critically, efficiently, and adaptively, which are all skills that expand far beyond my fields of study. Through data science and software development, I am able to introduce and implement code-based solutions that boost the accuracy and efficiency of a task. I thrive in leadership roles that allow me to effectively unify my team’s effort and expertise. As a member of the Physics Honors Society, Sigma Pi Sigma, I have earned many accolades, awards, and achievements along the way including Loyola’s Physics Achievement Award and an invitation to present the results of my research at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research.
