ABOUT AGUSTINUS ALLAN PORAJOW

Allan (23) is a data driven, highly-strategic, operationally-experienced, and resourceful individual known for his expertise in data-oriented, multidisciplinary approach in marketing and business. He began his career by founding a mental health organization aimed at empowering 300+ youth across five provinces in eastern Indonesia. Through that experience, he built a wide network of partnerships with both governmental and non-governmental organizations. Despite having only recently graduated, he now holds a Lead-level position at Ruangguru, Indonesia’s leading education tech company providing digital learning solutions to expand access to quality education across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. His initiatives focus on driving business excellence and developing solutions centered on the company’s most valuable asset: its teachers.As a graduate of political science, Allan’s passion lies in the realm of sustainability and education. Under the mentorship of Prof. Pratikno, former Minister of State Secretariat and the current Coordinating Minister of Human Development and Cultural Affairs, Allan wrote his thesis on Indonesia’s nickel downstreaming policies. His research examines the dynamic interactions between key stakeholders—namely the regime, politicians, and businesses—who continuously shape and influence this national agenda through bureaucracy.On the skills side, Allan excels in strategic communication and marketing development. Leveraging his political and business acumen, he worked as a Campaign Monetization & Partnership at ByteDance for TikTok Shop by Tokopedia. In his previous roles as an Outreach Intern at Campaign.com and a Community Development Intern at Plastic Bank Indonesia, Allan honed his ability to strategically plan communication initiatives, engage with grassroots partners, and design effective approaches to support program development. These positions required him to craft targeted outreach strategies, build partnerships, and drive impact through well-executed campaigns.Allan believes in order to become successful; he also has to be impactful toward others in his community. By doing so, he is eager to do things that people think he couldn’t do, break his limits, and reach for the stars. Giving up was, is, and will never be an option for him.
