Creating original and impactful digital content for BBC World Service and reporting international and Latin American current affairs.Main responsibilities:• Source and research news stories to produce daily social media video assets (explainers, sub-titled videos, Facebook Lives, etc.) with a quick turnaround• Creating original and impactful digital content for BBC and reporting international and Latin American current affairs.• Using tools such as Google Trends, YouTube Analytics, and CrowdTangle to identify trending stories• Regularly pitching stories for BBC\'s YouTube channel• Keeping on top of trends on YouTube, whether they are topics, formats, or visual styles• Researching and writing scripts for videos, with support from the Editors and journalists across the BBC team• Producing, shooting and editing videos in Adobe Premiere/After Effects/FCPX• Working with the Design team to produce animated elements for videos• Brainstorming headlines, tags and lead-ins to accompany the video to ensure the greatest reach and engagement
