A Small Businesses Lead Faculty is one who:Brings appropriate academic and practitioner oriented expertise to the classroom,Is committed to a teaching approach that is theory based, disciplinary integrated, and experientially focusedIs an innovative and collaborative teacher,Has the ability to recruit, train and develop Mod FacultyUses a model of community engagement, and Is dedicated to the program outcomes of job creation and revenue generation Roles & Responsibilities of Lead FacultyThe Lead Faculty person is responsible for the academic portion of the curriculum, as well as for the integration of that curriculum with the other key components of the program, business advising and the opportunity to access capital. The Lead Faculty is responsible for the planning and delivery of the curriculum as designed by Babson College and for any localization done in partnership with Babson. The Lead Faculty generally teaches the first and last mod, and opens and closes every other curriculum mod, clinic, and/or workshop. Is a part of the site delivery leadership team and responsible for the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of all site mod faculty members.
