Psychology graduate (BSc, University of Victoria) pursuing a career in occupational therapy with a focus on neurological and neurodegenerative conditions.My academic foundation in neuroanatomy and neurophysiology is informed by lived experience with concussion, which shaped my interest in brain injury, recovery, and functional rehabilitation. I supported concussion assessment and research through the University of Victoria Concussion Lab, gaining experience with evidence-based assessment and interdisciplinary work.I currently work as a Community Rehabilitation Worker with CogniCare, supporting adults with neurocognitive disorders in developing functional skills for daily living, independence, and community participation through client-centred, real-world interventions.I am motivated to pursue occupational therapy to support individuals living with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and cerebral palsy through person-centred, evidence-informed practice that prioritizes meaningful occupation and quality of life.
