Engineered a flow of funds that allowed us to scale with negative working capital. Created a sales + checkout motion that activated customers for a / mo purchase after a single 30 minute callInvited to speak at the Stripe Billing team all-hands about how we engineered our checkout and payments flows to close more customers and scale a services business with negative working capital-Before we were your startup\'s design department, NUMI was an e-commerce platform for Kenya. In 2019 we built the largest on-demand grocery delivery service in East Africa- Built and designed a platform ERP that fulfilled thousands of orders (90%+ in under 2 hours)- Built a fulfillment app that enabled machine vision-powered barcode scanning on $30 Androids with no cell service in 2019- Deployed one of the first production applications using M-Pesa STK Push - M-Pesa\'s e-commerce checkout API- Built one of the first production-grade cross platform deployments of React Native -> web, and later React Native -> Next.js- Engineered a payments workflow that allowed us to remit cash payments for orders back to our head office without needing the physical delivery of the money
