Manage the City’s Capital Access Program and work collaboratively with local Community Development Financial Institution (CDFIs) partners to expand and adapt the program to benefit small businesses in Seattle. Manage a cross-functional project team to support communications and outreach, data tracking, and program design. Analyze program metrics and develop reports for Mayor’s Office, senior leadership, and community partners. •Build partnerships and develop additional strategies to increase access to capital for small businesses, working with financing partners and community stakeholders. Track and leverage new capital resources from the state, such as the State Small Business Credit Initiative. Identify and cultivate emerging opportunities and partnerships to benefit Seattle businesses, including programs and policies to address systemic barriers and provide meaningful access. Provide asset management oversight for existing and new programs. •Reimagine the service delivery system by working with business service providers and our local CDFI partners to address the needs of historically underserved small businesses. Understand the needs of local small businesses as well as existing barriers to accessing capital and advise leadership on strategies.
